Lovely course. Some of the par 4 holes are devilishly long and some of the views are incredible. Course is well maintained. Nice wide fairways a lot of the time so even when you're not the best you can still have a good round (this includes me). Tee off after 4pm and it's half price. Absolute bargain. Highly recommended
£10 for as many holes as you want after 4pm is brilliant value on quite possibly the best municipal I’ve ever played. I regularly play different courses and this has to be one of the best around. Value for money is excellent. Fairways in great condition, greens lovely, rough cut just right and tees in good condition. Can’t complain at all and will be back regularly this summer.

played Warrington 13/4/18 with our golf society. The weather wasn't the best with some heavy rain the night before and in the morning. We where close to not being able to play but the green keepers done there best to have the course ready for us and what an amazing job they did. It's defiantly one of the best courses I have played. It's a very tricky course to play with some great holes, not the longest with some holes drivable on a dry summer's day on par 4s. Looking forward to coming back in the summer which no doubt will be more of a challenge.
Had a very good round. Facilities are splendid. Well worth a visit.

Xercise4less is the best gym ever. I have been going to gyms for over four decades and I can honestly say, this is the best one of them all, just love everything about Warrington one. Love the equipment, the staff, the people who go there, the parking. There is not one thing I don't like. It has the most equipment, the biggest space. Good air conditioning in summer, not too cold in winter. I definitely will be staying here, it feels like home. I would recommend this gym to everyone :)
A wonderful and user friendly atmosphere. Staff that are most welcoming and interactive. A great selection of equipment in abundance. Simply a great place to recommend to friends, family and work mates.

I've been a member of Pure Gym now for close on 10 years. I started to use this one when the Warrington North became too busy. It's nice and clean. Great selection of equipment. Good people use this gym in the morning a friendly atmosphere. The only issue i have with pure gym (all of them) the air con does not come on early enough. Makes them uncomfortable on hot early mornings.
Great gym in the centre of town, plenty of equipment, good range of free weight dumbbells (upto 50kg). Kept nice and clean and staff are very helpful. One item to note is that you must enter your reg in, in order to park in the car park, failing to do so will get you a hefty fine! It is clearly sign posted as you walk in though so no reason for you to forget and it keeps the car park clear for members

I wasn't allowed in because I only have 1 leg. this is racism
Holds a lot of netball here and is used for the schools sports. Only 2 netball courts indoors viewing areas are very close to courtside on hard benches only and very limited parking.
Warrington Sports Club, Walton Lea Rd, Walton, Warrington WA4 6SJ, UK – 01925 263210
Great sports club with good pitches and facilities. Friendly club atmosphere and a nice bar area. Plenty of parking .
Absolutely fantastic club with brilliant facilities. The bar is a bit over priced but that is to be expected.
52 Grange Ave, Warrington WA4 1QH, UK – 01925 634045
Good size building with lots of seperated areas. Well equipped, pool, snooker, bowling greens, 5-a-side and 11-a-side football pitches and cricket in the summer. Big TVs in the main lounge for sport events. Prices average and no guest beers. Staff friendly.
Good sports and social centre
Stockton Ln, Warrington WA4 3HQ, UK – 01925 600899
Went to a function here. Lovely if small room but great outside space for kids. We were allowed to have a bouncy castle and kids could use the football pitch. Bar prices very reasonable.
Nice place tucked away down a country lane. I love watching games here and seeing the barges go past on the canal. It gives the place a calming atmosphere. The clubhouse is used a lot for changing facilities - but was not open to general public when I was there. Lots of locals in the area use the grounds as part of their dog walking route.
